How do you use the playback function?

When the recording device is plugged in with a pair of earbuds or earphones, it will works just like a MP3 media player. You can playback and listen to any of your recording files or any music/ songs saved in the device. When you unplugged the earbuds or earphones from the device, it will works as a voice recorder. Toggle it to [ON], the led light will start blinking red for a few seconds, the device is now in recording mode.

When I plugged it into my computer, nothing is detected.

Please ensure that the 3.5 mm plug is pushed in all the way to the jack socket on the recording device. Push firmly to make sure it is actually all the way in, neatly and fully plugged into the jack socket until you hear a click sound. Plug the USB end into your computer. The led light will start blinking, and it should be detected as an external drive in about a few seconds. Once plugged in, the device wakes up and is configured as a USB mass storage device. You can then access the files inside the recording device on your computer.

I am not able to playback recordings on the voice recording device.

By default, the device will playback the MUSIC files first, so you need to switch to the RECORDINGS menu by pressing the [-] button in the playback mode. By pressing the [-] button, you can switch between the music files and your recording files.

Pressing the [-] button will switch between MUSIC and RECORDINGS menu.
Pressing the [+] button will skip to the next audio file.

How to delete the recording files, and how can it be used with a computer?

You can simply plugged in the recording device to your computer with the USB cable (included in the package) and you’ll be able to access the files in the device on your computer. You can then easily delete, add or transfer any files just like any other USB device.

Does this works with a Mac, because the audio files will not played on my Mac?

Yes, the recording device is compatible with both Windows and Mac computers.

For Mac users, please read the below step by step information in order to play the WAV files successfully on your Mac.

1. Get the “VLC Player for MAC” from videolan.org website, it’s free. Just googled “VLC Player for MAC” and you will find the site.
2. Choose the correct player for your MAC operating system and download.
3. Drag the VLC icon to your application folder.
4. Once it’s installed, open up your WAV files from your recorder, it should give you the option to “open with”.
5. Choose to open with your VLC player, or simply drag the WAV files into the VLC player.

After you have done the above. Turn up the volume on your MAC, and you will be able to play and listen to everything you have recorded.
If you want to convert the WAV files to MP3 or ACC format, you can use Emicsoft Video Converter for Mac.
